About Us

Welcome to Blue Water Medical Providing Abortions, Contraception, Vasectomies and Women’s Health Services.

With more than 30 years experience in women’s health, Dr Brumby is recognised as an expert in her field.

Having owned her own clinics for the last 12 years, she has made a speciality of contraception including IUD and Implanon insertion and removal.

She worked for many years with the Family Planning Association where she instructed and supervised trainee doctors. Medical students and nurse practitioners attend her clinics for training.

For the last 30 years she has been performing surgical terminations of pregnancy. She was one of the first Australian practitioners to offer another abortion option — using medication. This method has been legally available in Australia since 2009.
